Kennedy and Liam Imagine

Imagine that tonight was your Junior Prom... and you didn't have a date. Coincidentally, your best friend Liam didn't either. Which was weird, you thought, since he is so friendly, and cute, and sweet, and... STOP IT KENNEDY! Yeah... you have a crush on Liam. But you can NEVER tell him that. You and Liam decided that since neither of you had dates, and didn't want to go to prom, that you would hang out together and Liam's house, since his family would be out for the night. Pretty soon, you got to Liam's and let yourself in. "Lee-yum!" you called. "Up here Kennedy!" he yelled back. You stumbled up the stairs to Liam's room where you guys would most likely watch movies all night. And you were right. You guys have watched 2 movies already and were already halfway through "Valentine's Day" (Liam's choice). You stated thinking then, that you actually did want to go to prom. You really wanted to go to prom... and with Liam. Liam noticed that you started to act a little weird, so he paused the movie. "Kennedy, are you ok?" he asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking..." you said, not wanting to make a big deal out of nothing. "Whatcha thinking about?" he countered. "Just... how I kind of wish I had a date to go to prom." you said. "Hmm..." Oh no, Liam's getting ideas now... "What are you-" you started until he pulled you down the stairs into his living room. "What's going on?" you asked, really curious. "We're gonna have our own prom!" he said excitedly! He turned on his stereo and "Lego House" by Ed Sheeran began playing. He pulled you close to him and you snaked you arms around his neck. "This is nice." you said with a smile. "Thank you." Liam got on his thinking face then. "Kennedy, I need to tell you something." You nodded, telling him to continue. "Ok. I... I really like you. And I wanted to ask you to prom, but I was to chicken... So, uh, will you be my date to prom?" he asked shyly. You giggled. "Of course Liam. And, by the way, I really like you too." You were both grinning by now and continued to slow dance, even after the music stopped.
